Audrey Barbakoff
Audrey Barbakoff has served as a public library leader and librarian in a variety of settings, from a large urban system serving over a million people to a single building in a town of 500. Her experience as a children’s, teen, and adult librarian provides a unique perspective on library leadership and strategy. Audrey is known for using authentic community engagement to infuse creativity and innovation into programs and services. She was named a 2013 Library Journal Mover & Shaker, and is the author of Adults Just Wanna Have Fun: Programs for Emerging Adults (ALA Editions, 2016).
She frequently speaks, writes, and teaches on innovation and community engagement. Audrey received her MLIS from the University of Washington, and is currently working towards an Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California.
