Kate has worked in or with libraries for over 25 years, beginning with materials handling and front line service, in circulation and reference provision, branch management, continuing education, strategic planning, and association management.

Megan started her professional journey in libraries in Florida, where she saw the difference that a small library can make in its community. She is especially passionate about using libraries' resources to advance digital literacy initiatives.

Brooke brings a decade of volunteer experience in a variety of libraries and roles. Her passion for libraries led her to earn her MLIS from San Jose State University, and she is deeply committed to promoting the values that make libraries dynamic and inclusive community spaces.

Shamim, a University of Texas at Dallas graduate with degrees in Psychology and Child Learning and Development, transitioned into the library world driven by her love of literature and passion for creating inclusive spaces.

Brittany began her library career at Odegaard Undergraduate Library, University of Washington where she saw first-hand the impact librarians have on the community around them. She has a deep passion for information accessibility and community.

Carolyn started her library journey as a Library Assistant in Minnesota. She graduated with her MLIS from the University of Washington in 2026. She is passionate about intellectual freedom, physical community spaces, and supporting lifelong learning.

Darian Lorrain

Darian received her MLIS degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before moving to Washington where she started her career as a youth services librarian. She is passionate about creating support systems for libraries and library workers.
