A newcomer to the Pacific Northwest, Megan started her professional journey in libraries in Destin, Florida, where she worked for 6 years in library administration and programming. While there she got to see firsthand the difference that a small library can make to the community it serves. She is especially passionate about  using libraries' resources to advance digital literacy  initiatives among  teens and seniors. She graduated with her MLIS from the University of Washington  iSchool in June 2022.

When she's not busy exploring the great outdoors Megan can be found shopping for dice she doesn't need to add to her Dungeons & Dragons collection.  She dives head-first into any  fantasy novel she can get her hands on.
