Jen Robinson
Jen has a large and varied range of expertise in the world of information services. In collection development, Jen specializes in a technique called “glading,” which is organizing children’s collections based on subject areas, heavily involving children in the decision-making process.
She is also a champion of innovative programming, be it passive, interest-based, whole family or other types of unique programming. Organizational change and culture is another of Jen’s specialties. Whether it’s a new service model, changing job roles, trying new things, fostering innovation or transparency in an organization, Jen remains a clear-headed and forward-thinking communicator.

Jen has the ability to find positive, creative and innovative solutions to problems both very small and overwhelmingly large. A believer in change coming from the bottom, top, and insides, Jen’s favorite question to ponder is “What would libraries look like if everyone working in them felt supported, empowered, and invested?”
