The mission of public libraries has always attracted Robin and she is fascinated by their swiftly evolving role in communities. She enjoys helping colleagues feel better prepared for facing those changes.
Robin Dye

Robin provides circulation services for a midsized library system serving both urban and rural communities. She works as a lead and peer trainer in multiple disciplines and is an expert in facilitation. Throughout her several careers, she has worked extensively in project planning and management and has a background in team building. The mission of public libraries has always attracted her; she is fascinated by their evolving role in communities.

Before coming to library work, Robin's career was in conservation. She has an MA in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development. Her focus throughout was on information management, and enabling people to find and use the information they need. She has worked effectively with, and at times led, teams in a large, complex organization. In her previous job with The Nature Conservancy of Washington, she developed a science library and database for the office.
In her spare time, Robin and her husband have enjoyed remodeling two houses over the last several years, from wiring and plumbing to painting and selecting fixtures.
