Siri Hiltz
Siri believes that youth services is everyone's business. She has over a decade of experience working with youth ages zero to 18 in libraries and other informal learning environments, from designing programs and services to managing behaviors and expectations.
Siri has worked as a children's, teen and adult services librarian developing programming and services for all ages. With experience working at a Tribal library, mid-sized and large library systems, and as a state library youth services consultant, Siri understands that context matters and different communities require different approaches.
Her first job was as a grocery store courtesy clerk, where she learned that sometimes when a person can't remember where they parked their car it's because they walked. Siri almost always has a rom-com on in the background, and recently discovered the joys of listening to audiobooks while out in the garden.
